Shave the Brave is an effort on the part of our community heroes we depend on to keep us safe. Our Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, Emergency and Military Personnel come together to publicly shave their heads in support of children with cancer. The shaving of heads is symbolic, a visual act of solidarity with children who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy. The message this sends to the children is clear, “We respect your courage and we’ve come to help.”
